Our History
On June 25, 2008, Elder Ruby C. Gilliam presented the Organizing Plan for the mission work of Divine Wisdom Christian Center to her Pastor and Father in Ministry Bishop Dewayne C. Debnam, Pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church, Catonsville, Maryland who also serves as Bishop of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International for the State of Maryland. While attending the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International Conference in Birmingham, AL, per a meeting, Bishop Debnam approved the plan and encouraged the mission to go forth with Elder Ruby C. Gilliam serving as Pastor and Organizer of Divine Wisdom
Christian Center with his blessings.

Divine Wisdom Christian Center, Inc. was duly organized on July 1, 2008. The church is in Randallstown, Maryland. The church is organized according to the Baptist Doctrine and will adhere to protocols, policies, and procedures as set forth for an autonomous church. The mission’s opening sessions began with an Initial Bible Study on July 10 and the first Worship Experience was held on July 13, 2008, and thirty-seven members joined the new mission. The Mission is to model the Great Commission by introducing a Holy God to all people.

As well as, preaching, teaching, fellowshipping, and reaching beyond the walls of the church to engage the community and to provide a place of refuge for Christians who have left the church with a safe avenue to return and restore health relationships with God, their families, and friends through Jesus Christ. The Vision is to provide spiritual nurturing through education to encourage, empower, and equipt to live God-centered lives by applying practical biblical principals as they seek wisdom and godly council which leads to right living and health relationships realizing that, “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him” (James 1:5)
